November 30th



Karcher Character Students of the Week
All 6 of these students displayed positive character behaviors within our 8 focused traits:

  • Raquel Gomez (Silver)
    • She can always be counted on to do a stellar job on every assignment and brings a positive energy to every class!
  • Leslie Romero (Applied Academics) 
    • She exhibits The Karcher Way daily through her kindness and by always having a positive attitude.
  • Dawson Gurschke (Hive) 
    • He was kind to his entire 7th hour class this week and continues to be responsible by turning in all his school work!
  • Erin Torpy (Onyx)
    • She consistently shows kindness, compassion, and respect towards all around her and puts 100% effort into her work and responsibilities at school.
  • Brianna Eldest (Karcher Bucks)
    • She consistently displays kindness and honestly throughout the school day.
  • Addison Mangold (Diamond)
    • She is always concerned with doing her best quality work in all of her classes. She is a positive influence and leader for her peers.

Reminders/Information

  • December 3rd (Thursday) - 7th and 8th grade Band Concert @ 7:00pm in the Karcher gym.  
    • Please park and enter on  Wainwright Street.  There is no cost for admission.
  • Parent/Teacher conferences are on December 7th.
    • Scheduled conferences are from 4:00 - 5:20.  Teachers will be contacting families of the students they are needing to see to schedule a meeting during this time.  
    • Open conferences are from 5:20 - 6:00.  Any parents interested in coming to talk with any of our staff about your son/daughter are welcome to come during this time frame.  This is open to any/all parents who have not been called for a scheduled meeting. 
    • Please enter the building by the circle drive/Robert Street.
  • December 8th - 7th and 8th grade Choir Concert @ 7:00pm in the Karcher gym.  
    • Please park and enter on Wainwright Street.  There is no cost for admission.
  • December 9th - Early release for students -  7:20 - 12:00pm.  
  • December 18th - modified schedule with the afternoon Staff vs. Students basketball game!
  • December 21st - First day of Winter Break
  • January 4th - School resumes
  • January 6th - 8th - Outdoor Education for 8th grade students.
    • Most 8th grade students will be attending the Outdoor Education Event. 
    • Our district Registered Nurses will be attending this outing and will be administering all prescription and non-prescription medications.
    • Non-Prescription Form  AND  Prescription Form  These forms are the medication administration consent forms that are required to accompany any medications your student will be using. Please fill out the appropriate form(s) and have your student return them to the health office.
    • Any prescription medication forms will need a physician’s signature as well as your own.
    • All medications must be in original bottles.
    • Any unused medications will be returned to you when your student returns from their outing.
    • If your student already has medication in the Health Room, it will be sent along to Outdoor Ed then returned to the Health Room.
    • Included is a copy of our district’s medication policy for your reference.
